Billing and Subscription Terms

Plans and charges

LegalPicsApp offers a no-card trial with one owner, two cases ever, and no case admins. Paid plans include a recurring base subscription, a one-time initiation fee, case-admin seat charges, and a charge for each case billed when a case is created. The checkout flow and pricing page identify the price and plan that apply to your order.

Subscriptions and renewals

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize us or our payment processor to charge the applicable fees using your selected payment method.

Usage-based pricing

Case-admin seats are reserved when an invitation is sent, rather than when the invited person accepts. Paid case charges are created once per case at case creation and are not refunded if a case is later deleted. Trial-created cases are not billed. You are responsible for charges created through authorized activity in your organization.

Customer-owned storage

Advanced may include customer-owned storage at rest with revocable temporary delegated access for newly created cases. LegalPicsApp compute accesses evidence when processing and PDF generation require it, and application metadata remains in our database. Your organization pays AWS storage, request, transfer, and GuardDuty costs separately. Customer administrators remain inside the trust boundary, including for object and scan-tag changes. Supported customer buckets are unversioned, so an administrator overwrite or deletion cannot be recovered, and existing cases are not migrated.

Cancellation and downgrades

You may request cancellation through the product. Paid access remains active through the current billing period and then has 30 additional days of read-only access. Downgrades are handled through support and take effect at the next billing cycle. Upgrades may take effect immediately, subject to the checkout terms and applicable prorations.

Failed payments and restricted access

If payment cannot be collected or the read-only period ends, we may place the service into read-only mode until the billing issue is resolved. Read-only access can prevent new uploads, edits, invitations, reviews, new PDF generation, and other account changes while preserving access to existing records and PDFs as the product permits.

Taxes and refunds

Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Subscription fees and case-based charges are non-refundable except where required by law. Material pricing changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice. Billing questions should be directed to billing@legalpicsapp.com.
